Have you ever just sat down and thought about where you want your life to go and how you cant have it any other way?
Such thoughts like a career, family and life partners, travel, you plan these until you believe it is going to happen.

What do you do when it never happens? Do you see it as life wasted? Whether you did something or nothing important, can you live in peace knowing that you never got what you always hoped for.

I remember talking to one little old lady, and she was telling me all about her stories and exciting life, I was quite impressed, and I thought wow, she had a life well lived. Upon asking her about children and a husband she looked kinda sad then said no, she had never married, she never had children and has no grandchildren.

She told me that she wanted to get married to have that someone to share her life with, but with her travels and career she always said she would do it later, and later became never.

So while you sit and think, try to remember that if you really wanted something, go an do it. This elderly woman did exciting things but it was not important to her as much as her dreams.

I often sit and hope that I will not end up like that but in the end of the day I wonder if it would actually exist for me, in the sense that I do not want to have a life well lived with the regret of not having that someone. It kind of puts a joy-kill to all achievements.

It is good to think though on the other hand that this is one of lifes mysteries, and a present I am constantly unwrapping still clueless to what it is.

It is an adventure, Just don't cut yourself short of what you want just to go chase something less important.
